Beauty favourites
On this page we’ll be keeping track of our all-time favourite beauty products, updating categories as new products come to the fore. We’ve scoured the high-street and beauty departments comparing everything from the cheap-and-cheerfully priced beauty wonders, through to the premium-priced, science-backed, high-end products.
This will be a continual work in progress so let us know what you think or if you have suggestions of things to try!

Thank you for your post. I’ll try some of the products you mentioned.
Great!. Let me know how you get on and which work for you!
great post! how would you compare loreal beige platinum (152 ?) to MAC all that glitters etc. ? would be great to find out… thanks
Hi there and thanks for your comment – great to know that the page is useful!
I’ve not tried All That Glitters but having tried a range of beige shades, would say L’Oreal really has the edge. The eyeshadow is highly pigmented and long lasting, and the colour will suit all shades.
I do, however, recommend Woodwinked by MAC which is a slightly more goldy/bronze shade for a more made-up look.
Hope this helps and thanks for reading!
